The full name Of great Maratha king is "Shivaji Shahaji Bhosale". He born at 19th Februrary 1627 at Shivnery fort near Pune in Maharashtra.  His life is include full of  adventures. He spend his most of life on battle field with continuous battles. He is the only king who strongly up-stand against Mughal Empire. At that time Mughal Empire is one of the biggest and powerful empire. Its military position is biggest militory in the world. Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj not only defend his kingdom against Mughal but also they Expand it. now a days he is one of the ideal ruler or leader for us. his ambition for creating a 'Great Maratha Empire' is for the safety  and development of  his country which was used to looted by Muslim rulers. he build us kingdom of his own people. Shivaji Maharaj introduce a new war technique known as 'Ganimi-Kawa' means Guriella warfare. during Shivaji's  period Castle gets extreme importance for Millitory purposes so many castles are build in his period.castles are used for defend purposes. Shivaji Maharaj is very able millitory general and brillient diplomat. he got victory in every descive battles. their are so many examples outnumbered and well armored enemy gets defeated by the so less numbered. At that time, Aurangzeb is Mughal Emperor. He is one of the most ambitious emperor is ever Indian history. Aurangzeb military is more than half million.his empire is Extending from  central Asia in north to Krishna river in south.Assam in East and Iran in west. his empire includes about 20%-22% worlds population.The war between this Mughal Empire and Shivaji is just like battle between heavy cannons and light cavalry. and finally, He succeed create 'Great Maratha Empire'.
